| Charlie Michaels of Fly Creek recently unearthed this photo of his dad, Howard “Hi” Michaels, back from a rabbit hunt circa 1930. He is holding a seven-shot Winchester. Michaels also found a “Journal Ramblings” clipping, where his dad recounted obtaining a dog, Jack, at right. After an uncertain start, Jack teamed up with Blackie; many successful rabbit hunts followed. |
